Presenter: Dr. William Gibbs
It is easy to rely on your doctors to take care of your health, but the reality is nobody is going to take more interest in your health than you. In this session we will discuss how you can work doctors to help maximize your treatment. We will discuss “patient skills” such as taking notes, writing down questions in advance for your doctor. Taking notes in between visits and taking your medications as prescribed. Small differences in your behavior can make a big impact on your overall health and effectiveness of your prescribed treatments. We will share and discuss various things other patients do to get the most out of their doctor visits.
