Dr. Ogu currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Medicine-Hematology) at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Prior to this, she was associated with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Pediatrics. She obtained her medical degree at Windsor University School of Medicine in the West Indies, completed residency in Pediatrics at the University of Iowa, and fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medicine.
Her clinical interest focuses on sickle cell disease and transition of care from pediatrics to adult. Dr. Ogu was also associated with the Division of Hematology at Montefiore as the Assistant Director of the Sickle Cell Center for Adults.
