Sickle Cell Warriors of Southeast TX, Inc. is a non-profit company that provide individuals and families of people with sickle cell anemia different services such as tutoring, counseling, support groups, financial assistance etc., in order to help affected individuals, rise above sickle cell and the stigma that is carried along with it. It has been identified that less than 25% of Texas area people with sickle cell anemia have help outside of their family and friends.
Our vision is to be the most successful sickle cell organization within the southeast texas area with an array of well-informed, committed and active supporters. This organization was founded by two ladies with sickle cell anemia disease. The first Lakeesha Wilson and secondly Alandria Perry. The two of them have been working really hard to reach out and do as much as possible for the community in which they live.
If you have Sickle Cell disease or trait, then join us, use the services we have available, and lets all work together to conquer and overcome the effects caused by this chronic illness. If you do not have this disease, we still need you. Please join our family of advocates by spreading awareness about the disease, donating or helping us to raise money for research, education and the well being of those suffering with sickle cell and their families. By working together, we can all make a difference and touch many lives in the process!
