Dr. Keith Quirolo is a pediatrician in Oakland, California and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Alta Bates Summit Medical Center and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland. This committee approved Exjade in 2005, the first oral iron-chelator that removes excess iron, and advises the FDA on blood transfusion science.
