Senior Clinical Research Coordinator
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
3401 Civic Center Blvd.
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Nola Juste is a senior clinical research coordinator at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She has completed graduation school with a Masters in Public Health. Nola was diagnosed with sickle cell disease in her early childhood. She didn’t notice many symptoms when she was young but as soon she entered college, her symptoms became visible and she had to miss most of her classes.

Despite challenges, like multiple organ failure due to sickle cell anemia she maintains a bright attitude and perseveres to pursue her dreams. She volunteers at a camp that she used to attend for kids with sickle cell. She thinks it’s important for kids to meet people older than them. She also works with organizations and volunteers to raise awareness. She also has competed for Miss Pennsylvania USA.
